About Francis Kurkdjian
Francis Kurkdjian is one of the most celebrated perfumers alive today. Born in Paris to Armenian parents, he trained at ISIPCA (the prestigious perfumery school founded by Jean-Jacques Guerlain) and burst onto the scene at just 25 years old with Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male, which went on to become one of the best-selling men's fragrances in history. In 2009 he founded his own house, Maison Francis Kurkdjian, with business partner Marc Chaya. Baccarat Rouge 540 cemented his status as a modern master. He also serves as the in-house perfumer for the house of Dior's couture fragrance line, La Collection Privee.
