About Olivier Polge

Olivier Polge followed his father Jacques into the world of perfumery and eventually succeeded him as the in-house nose at Chanel in 2013. Before Chanel, he created several notable fragrances including Viktor & Rolf Spicebomb, Lancome La Vie Est Belle, and Dolce & Gabbana The One. At Chanel, he has continued the house's tradition of refined, elegant composition while bringing a more contemporary sensibility.

Creative Philosophy: The younger Polge has spoken about the tension between innovation and heritage that defines his work at Chanel. He aims to create fragrances that feel both new and familiar, rooted in the house codes while pushing them forward.
